Pacific Carrier, the coal transportation vessel(77,458t), went broken in half after facing the deadly influece of #15 typhoon, Bolaven on August 28, 2012. 


Being stranded off Sinsudo shore, Sacheon city, the vessel became the main subject of environmental pollution source by the local. In response and in an urgent measure, Undine Marine Industries(UMI) was urgently called for by the contract owner, Nippon Salvage Co,(NSC) and joint wreck removal operation started on October 6, 2012. 

UMI & NSC successfully dragged off the vessel's fore section and removed it to the safe water on August 12, 2012 and the quick and pollution-zero performance by UMI and NSC is highly acclaimed at local government and citizen for dispelling worries of additional environmental pollution.
